Acupuncture

Acupuncture is part of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). They are founded on the basis of balance. There is an imbalance when health conditions like pain appear. To diagnose this imbalance, an acupuncturist looks at patterns through observation (such as eating or sleeping habits, measuring pulse, observing tongue) and by asking questions about the patient’s health history.

Beyond acupuncture, Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) includes many other techniques such as Chinese herbal tea, massotherapy, moxibustion, cupping, Gua Sha…

How Does It Work?

Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine focus on treating the root of the imbalance and not only the symptoms or disease. The combination of needles’ insertion points is based on the pattern of the imbalance. Acupuncture is not limited to needling, but may include acupressure, electro-acupuncture, moxibustion, cupping, etc.

Is Acupuncture Safe?

We only use sterile single-use acupuncture needles. Acupuncture also does not cause side effects unlike many medications. During a treatment, you may feel some pressure and occasional tingling sensation in the needling area. These sensations are normally mild and will subside after insertion.

Natural & Safe

Acupuncture and Chinese medicine are safe, effective and drug free options for an enormously wide range of conditions including infertility, stress, digestive disorders, depression, allergies, sleeping disorders, menstrual disorders, facial paralysis, headaches, back pain, etc.
